It all began with the birth of a tiny, premature, orphan, Paint filly. She was born at midnight in the dirt of a boarding stable. She was moved to the garage of a townhouse and bottle fed. Linda fell in love with this little filly now known as Slidin ToThe Stars, aka, “Scooter”.
After helping raise Scooter, her daughter, Stacey , presented this little filly to Linda as a birthday gift.
Linda, realizing her love for this horse, purchased her property and started growing her dream…….
Paint My Quarter Ranch.
Linda has collected a small band of broodmares which are bred only to the finest stallions. She selects each stallion by considering the best qualities of both the mare and the stallion.
In addition, she is able to perform ultrasonography and artificial inseminations as necessary.
Linda’s goal is to bring the joy of a high quality young horse into a person’s life for loving and showing, therefore, each and every foal born at Paint My Quarter Ranch is handled from birth. Each foal is taught to lead, tie, bathe, load into the trailer, and stand quietly for the farrier.
